I’m Rylan in Colorado City, Texas. We have a cow herd and a yearling operation. We’ve been with RanchOn now for two years, maybe two and a half years.
We’ve used their product from the very beginning. It’s been very dependable for us. We’re using a lot of different scenarios.
You can see this one’s all portable setup. We do a lot of yearlings on cultivation, hot wire scenarios from some of the sorriest water setups you can ever imagine to good setups. At any time, we can be scattered out over five counties with two to three guys.
Having this has really helped us be able to utilize our time better. We get some cattle that maybe the health is good on that we don’t have to see maybe every day that are 40, 50 miles away. It allows us to be able to look at those cattle every other day and save that time to look at the ones that are a little more at risk at the moment.
Even when fuel’s high, it allows us to save a little money and fuel in that scenario. Like I said, we’ve been using them for at least two years. We have had little and no problems.
They’re always accurate on what they do. The few times during the process that we’ve had some hiccups with it, the guys at RanchOn have been really great about getting the issue fixed and fixed quick. A lot of that was through the beta testing times too.
I think everything’s pretty well fixed and good to go now. Like I said, we use them on these portable storages. We’ve used them on open top concrete storages.
We’ve even used them just straight on a trough. I really haven’t found a way that we can’t make it work and help us out. I think it’s a great product to add to your ranch.
